She moved back to Eden, NC in 1985 and reunited with her church family at Little Bethlehem and was a member of the Christian Endeavor for Young People , the Christian Women’s Fellowship . She was the musician and singer in the senior choir, Male Chorus and formed the Cherub Children’s Choir. She was later named the Musician Emeritus at the church.
We plan for our wedding, our children’s education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. She became a resident of Brookdale Assisted Living in Eden, NC and continued playing the piano and even formed a singing group. With her passion of music and singing, she touched the hearts of the staff and residents. On her 100th birthday, her family surprised her with a birthday celebration.
